The Emeritus Students College of Marin (ESCOM), was founded at the College of Marin (COM) in 1973. A pioneer in the innovative use of community colleges for adults, the organization enhances the lives of its greater community with a diverse selection of clubs, events and classes offered online or at COM's Kentfield and Indian Valley campuses.The ESCOM Journal is a publication of the Emeritus Students College of Marin and is published on alternative months online. Kentfield CAMPUS (KTD)Established in 1926 as Marin Junior College, the Kentfield Campus was based at the 13-acre site of the Butler estate with an enrollment of 87 scholars. The Kentfield Campus has grown to satisfy the community's want of providing high-caliber instructional opportunities for college students of every age and from all walks of lifestyles. State-of-the-art facilities for STEM majors, nice and performing artists, early early life training, kinesiology, and general schooling categories draw scholars from all over the Bay Area. Student clubs and organizations replicate a wide variety of interests and focuses for scholar activity, involvement, and building. Students at College of Marin have the opportunity to enroll in current clubs or create new clubs to be able to explore a selected space of pastime past the study room, and hands-on enjoy for gaining interpersonal and professional abilities. Indian Valley Campus (IVC)In 1971, the Board of Trustees established the second one college of the district and named the brand new establishment Indian Valley College.
